Ragdoll & Maine Coons treating their humans like lollipops is totally normal and kind of adorable. So, what’s the deal with your cat licking you? If your cat is licking everything from windows to walls, it’s time to call your Vet for an appointment. Licking can also be a sign of nausea, so it’s essential to get it checked out. If your feline friend has a thing for licking your hair, be cautious as it could be harmful. If you find yourself needing a little space from your kitten at night, a quick fix could be as simple as closing your bedroom door. Another option is to get something specifically made for cats to lick, like a lick mat. Just spread some cat food on the mat, and voila, your cat will have a tasty distraction that isn’t you. Shift your focus. Avoid encouraging the behavior with your attention, but instead redirect it to something else.
